19-year-old, first-generation race car driver from Minnesota whose passion for racing began at just 8 years old. He started his career on oval tracks with the goal of one day becoming a NASCAR driver. His early dedication and work ethic quickly set him apart as he progressed through the ranks of competitive racing.
At just 14 years old, Ratliff advanced into NASCAR Late Model competition, gaining experience in one of the most demanding stock car platforms in the country, a major milestone in his young career. By 15, Ratliff was fully self-funded and earning multiple podium finishes, gaining experience in 450+ horsepower race cars. In addition to his Late Model career, Ratliff expanded his versatility by competing in INEX Legend Cars and Bandolero. His success in Bandolero competition culminated in winning the 2020 INEX Bandolero Minnesota State Championship, a milestone that highlighting his ability to adapt and excel across multiple racing disciplines.
At age 16, Ratliff made a pivotal shift in his career, turning his focus toward road course racing and high-level karting to refine his racecraft. He built an impressive karting resume, becoming a six-time SPEC go-kart champion and competing in the 206 Senior class, all while balancing high school coursework through the PSEO program and pursing an auto mechanics degree at DCTC. His technical background and hands-on experience as an auto mechanic have given him a deep understanding of race cars beyond the driver’s seat.
Now fully committed to racing at the national level, Ratliff is competing in the SCCA Majors Tour and the Hoosier Super Tour in the Ratliff Racing Spec Miata, one of the most competitive divisions in U.S motorsports and a proven gateway to IMSA competition. With a foundation built on self-funding, mechanical knowledge, and success across multiple disciplines, Ratliff is ruthlessly focused on winning at the national level.
